2022 GALA HONOUREE:
Dr. Robin Billick
Dr. Robin Billick
Dr. Robin Billick is the head of Dermatology at the Jewish General Hospital. He is an inspirationally dedicated medical professional whose team saves hundreds of lives each year through early cancer identification, treatment, and removal. As an Associate Professor at McGill University, Dr. Billick is double board certified both in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. He began his practice at the JGH in 1979 and has since built the in-hospital Dermatology department into what it is today. He loves gardening, powder-skiing and mountain biking, but most of all, he gets his greatest pleasure spending time with family. As a long-time supporter of ICRF, he and his family are determined to find a cure.

2022 Event Co-Chairs:
Peter Rosenthal
&
Samantha Singer Guindi
Peter Rosenthal
Peter has seen the devastating effects Cancer can have since he was young. As Co-President of Rosenthal Life group, a family-owned estate planning and life insurance firm, he has encountered many situations whereby those closest to him have been diagnosed with and affected by this terrible disease. His compassion, empathy, and dedication to helping others have inspired him to do all that he can to bring us closer to the day when there will be no longer any suffering caused by Cancer. He is honoured to be able to return for a second year to co-chair our Gala.
Samantha Singer Guindi
Samantha is a mother of 4 beautiful children aged 11, 9, 6 and 4. She lost her mother to Cancer when her eldest son was only 1 week old, which has had a huge impact on her adult life. Between working full time as a Regional Controller at Tidan Hospitality, caring for her family and spending time with friends, Samantha has always put a big importance on raising money for Cancer and Cancer research. She has participated in many fundraising events and is extremely honoured to be Co-Chair for this year’s ICRF Gala, especially since Dr. Walter Gotlieb, head of ICRF’s Scientific Advisory Board, was the Doctor who cared tirelessly for her beloved mother.
2022: EveNING master of ceremonies

We are honoured to have her join us as the host of this years Gala as we come together to try and find a cure.
Cocktails & afterparty with
Esan Ellis
Perpetual Motion! His musical sense is like his energy….non stop and always evolving! Fitting the norm musically was never an option and it eventually guided his hand in becoming a rhythmic nutritionist (he is not a fan of the title “DJ”).
Back in 2011, he lost his brother unexpectedly and that set him on an intense trial by fire endeavour into the world of House Music!
Esan was a regular at the WMC music festival in Miami, bounced the decks in New York at the legendary Funkbox NYC and has also volunteers his services for countless charitable organizations over the years. He is also a brand ambassador to Cirka Distilleries.
Armed with an ever-present smile and driven by what most have described as an “endless supply of energy and determination”; Esan knows only one way to approach his trade…ALL OUT!!!
